Aliyah Formont is a Policy Analyst for Life:Powered at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, focusing on policy initiatives for Texas and the U.S. Additionally, Aliyah serves as a Policy Scholar for Life:Powered and Better Tech for Tomorrow Campaigns at the organization. Aliyah has extensive experience in public relations and fundraising from a role as a Public Relations Specialist for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, and as a Recruitment Ambassador for the same organization. In academia, Aliyah worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, collaborating with professors to develop course materials on environmental water roles and providing support to students. Aliyah also held the position of Director of Philanthropy for Kappa Delta Sorority, orchestrating significant fundraising events, and completed a summer internship with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, conducting water quality assessments over extensive coastal areas. Aliyah holds a Bachelor's degree in Soil, Water and Ecosystem Sciences and a minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership from the University of Florida.
