Vice President Of News at Texas Public Radio

Dan Katz has a diverse work experience in the field of news and media. Dan started their career as a Reporter/Producer/Host at WUFT-FM in 2009 and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked in Kasin Management Co. in a role related to Leasing & Acquisitions. In 2012, they joined WSHU Public Radio as a Producer, and later became the News Director from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of News at Texas Public Radio, starting from September 2018.

Dan Katz attended the University of Florida from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Texas Public Radio

Texas Public Radio is a member supported non-profit organization that provides public radio programming via seven radio stations. In San Antonio, the stations are KTSX 89.1 FM "News and Views"​ and KPAC 88.3 "Classical Oasis."​ KTXI 90.1 broadcasts NPR news and classical music to the Hill Country. KVHL 91.7 broadcasts public radio programming to the Highland Lakes area of Texas. KTPR 89.9 broadcasts to Midland and Big Spring. KTPD 89.3 serves Del Rio, and KCTI 1450 AM serves Gonzales.
