Chi Ma is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of craniofacial development and tissue engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and a Scientist at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Chi Ma has focused on the vital roles of ligament tissue in cranial facial development and the design of biodegradable scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where the development of innovative scaffolding solutions was a key responsibility. Chi Ma holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Qingdao University.
