Dr. Aysha Khalid is a Research Scientist in Molecular Genetics at Scottish Rite for Children, a position held since August 2018. Prior to this, Dr. Khalid served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from October 2014 to August 2018 and conducted doctoral research as a PhD Student in Applied Medicine at the University of Aberdeen from April 2008 to January 2014. During the academic journey, Dr. Khalid gained experience as a PhD Researcher and Research Assistant, supervising undergraduate and medical students, co-authoring NHS endowment grants, and utilizing various techniques to investigate bone biology and treatment methodologies for conditions such as osteoporosis. Dr. Khalid holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Aberdeen, as well as a BSc from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Dubai.
