Lia Young

Lia Young is an experienced nursing professional with a robust background in healthcare management and clinical practice. Since August 2009, Lia has served as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Scottish Rite for Children, where responsibilities include managing daily operations and transitioning to a bill-for-services model through collaboration with various departments. Prior experience includes serving as Clinical Manager at Texas Health Resources, overseeing 60 direct reports, handling performance evaluations, payroll, and scheduling, as well as functioning as a Staff Registered Nurse in charge of postpartum care. Lia also coordinated the Pioneer Project at Texas Woman's University, overseeing recruitment and operations for a significant research initiative. Lia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from Texas Woman's University, earned in 2000.
