Manuel Mendoza

Manuel Mendoza is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in journalism, public relations, and documentary filmmaking. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Officer at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children since September 2010, Manuel has developed expertise in strategic communications and media relations. In addition, as the owner of Mendoza Communications, Manuel specializes in arts journalism and marketing. Contributions to The Dallas Morning News as a special contributor since 2008 highlight proficiency in covering pop and classical music, dance, theater, and film. Previously, Manuel was a staff critic for The Dallas Morning News from 1992 to 2006. As a producer-director at End of Story Films, involvement includes creating the documentary "Stop the Presses." Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.
