Reese Kirkham

Level 1 Research Intern Movement Science Laboratory (msl) at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Reese Kirkham is an emerging professional with experience in research and medical observation. Currently serving as a Level 1 Research Intern at Scottish Rite since June 2020, Reese completed a literature review on the biomechanics of adolescent lower limb amputations and prosthetics in sports medicine, with findings presented to the Movement Science Laboratory and its medical staff. Previous experience includes a role as a Student Observer at Shannon Medical Center, where observational skills were developed within the operating room and clinic setting. Additionally, experience as a Counselor in Training at YMCA of the USA involved assisting in the supervision and safety of campers while facilitating various camp activities. Reese holds a High School Diploma from Wakeland High School, specializing in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
