Robert van Pelt

Robert Van Pelt, MPH, currently serves as Research Coordinator II in Sports Medicine at Scottish Rite for Children. With a diverse background, Robert also contributes as an NBA News Desk Correspondent for FantasyPros and works as a Sports Data Scout for Scouting Heroes, where live data collection takes place at regional football and basketball games. Previous experience includes an internship at Dallas County Health and Human Services, focusing on chronic disease prevention, and roles as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Performance Course and a Strength and Conditioning Attendant at Texas A&M Rec Sports, ensuring safe equipment use and facility supervision. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University.
