Tracy Ginsburg

Tracy Ginsburg is currently the Director at the Texas Society of Association Executives. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Fort Bend Independent School District from July 2009 to August 2013. In this role, they were responsible for the oversight of the financial operations of the district, including managing a $500 million operational budget and developing multi-year budget forecasts. Additionally, Tracy was responsible for developing and implementing cost effective and efficient district operations in accordance with the Baldridge process.

During their time as Chief Financial Officer, Tracy successfully implemented budgetary strategies which linked to the district improvement plan, managed the district's investment portfolio to ensure a maximum rate of return was received, and developed a fiscal strategy for the district operations. Tracy also worked actively with the legislature to develop the district's legislative agenda and ensure their understanding of the district's needs. In addition, Tracy developed programs to ensure vendor participation in available bid opportunities and created a safety training program for employees to reduce overall worker's compensation costs. Finally, they led a cross-functional team to evaluate and improve the district's financial accounting software in response to the district's on-going needs and implemented cost cutting measures in face of declining financial resources.

Tracy Ginsburg has a Doctor of Education from the University of Houston in Professional Leadership, a Masters from The University of Texas at El Paso in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. Tracy is also certified as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives.
