Babu Dasari

Babu Dasari is an experienced instructional designer and educator with a robust background in economics. Currently serving as an Instructional Designer II at Texas Southern University since July 2021, Babu focuses on innovative course design and inclusive teaching practices. Previous roles include adjunct faculty positions at the University of Houston and Rutgers University - Camden, along with significant teaching experience at Temple University and Arcadia University. Babu's expertise encompasses curriculum development and the delivery of over 100 courses in various modalities, utilizing advanced pedagogical strategies to enhance student engagement. Additionally, Babu has contributed to significant projects as a consultant for the Center for the Advanced Study of India and The World Bank, analyzing complex socio-economic dynamics. Babu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Madras, complemented by advanced degrees in applied economics and a strong foundational education in economics, mathematics, and statistics.
