Huan Xie

Huan Xie serves as the Founding Director of the Institute of Drug Discovery and Development at Texas Southern University, where responsibilities also include being the Program Director of the Graduate Program of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Director of the RCMI Center for Biomedical and Minority Health Research. Huan Xie holds roles as Co-Director of the CPRIT GCC Center for Comprehensive PK/PD & Formulation and has progressed through academic ranks from Assistant Professor to Professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department. Previous experience includes a position as Visiting Professor at the University of Houston and serving as Senior Research Scientist at Nanospectra Biosciences, where research focused on innovative cancer therapies using nanoparticles. Huan Xie holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Fudan University.
