Latisha Addison

Latisha Addison, Ed.D has a diverse range of work experience in the education and finance sectors. Latisha is currently employed as the Executive Director of Student Financial Success at Texas Southern University, where they oversee the administration of financial aid, scholarships, and veterans benefits. Prior to this role, they worked at Austin Community College as the Regional Director of Financial Aid Campus Operations/Outreach and later as the Campus Financial Aid Supervisor, overseeing administrative functions and providing guidance to staff. Before that, they held various positions at Texas Southern University, including Default Prevention Coordinator and Financial Aid Counselor. Latisha also gained experience as a Student Account Specialist at Westwood College, a Loan Coordinator at the Art Institute, and as a College Serv Analyst and Customer Service Representative II at Sallie Mae.

Latisha Addison, Ed.D holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Leadership in Higher Education, which they obtained from Abilene Christian University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management and Leadership from Tarleton State University, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their degrees, they hold certifications in various areas, including The Equity Chair Part 1 from The New Philanthropists, Social Justice Mediator from the Social Justice Mediation Institute, Grant Writer from the Austin Center for NonProfit Studies, and Certified Life Coach from the International Association of Certified Coaches.
