Yvette Barker

Yvette Barker has extensive work experience in the education and student services field. Yvette began their career in 1996 as a Financial Aid counselor at Langston University. Yvette then joined American Campus Communities in 1997, where they held the role of General Manager for almost 20 years. In 2016, Yvette transitioned to Texas Southern University, first as an Executive Director and later taking on the role of Interim Vice President of Student Life & Engagement. Yvette'sexperience spans over two decades and demonstrates their expertise in managing student services and engagement programs.

Yvette Barker holds a Master's degree in Urban Education and Leadership from Langston University. Yvette also has obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Administration from Talladega College.
