Zamaria Venzant

Zamaria Venzant is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Owner of Embracing Minds Counseling since July 2020. Additionally, Zamaria has been a Visiting Faculty member at Texas Southern University since August 2017. Previous roles include Social Service Specialist at Austin Independent School District, LPC Intern at Hill Country Parenting, and Clinician at Positive Impact Therapeutic Services. Zamaria has also worked as a Mental Health Responder at Integrative Mental Health Solutions and completed a Practicum at the Houston Independent School District: Crisis Intervention. Early experience includes a Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Texas Southern University and a Practicum at Monarch Family Services. Zamaria holds a Master of Arts in Clinical-Community Psychology from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
