Aubrey Benton

Aubrey Benton is a highly experienced marine biology professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Aubrey has been employed at the Texas State Aquarium since April 2017, where roles have included Life Support Operator, Animal Care Monitor, and Guest Ambassador 2. Additional experience includes a position as a Research Technician at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies in 2018 and an Aquarist Internship at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher in 2014. A background in research is also evident through work as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Furthermore, an Associate of Science degree in Chemistry has been obtained from Central Texas College.
