Lisa Berg

Director of Education Services at Texas State Historical Association

Lisa Berg is the current Director of Education Services at the Texas State Theirtorical Association. Lisa has previous experience as a Site Manager, where they oversaw five properties under the Penobscot Corporation, including Kentuck Knob - a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Lisa is responsible for developing and managing budgets, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax information, and more. Lisa has also increased specialty tour attendance, cut expenses, and increased revenue through their 18 months as Site Manager. In their current position, Lisa designs and creates brochures and other promotional material, plans and executes new tours and educational programs, conducts periodic visitor surveys, meets with outside contractors and vendors, and organizes special events.

Lisa Berg's educational career includes a Master of Arts in American Theirtory/Museum Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Post Bac in Theirtory Teacher Education from Trevecca Nazarene University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication/Journalism from Texas Tech University. Lisa is also certified from the Kansas Department of Education in Theirtory/Economics/Geography Secondary Teaching License.
