Kate Glasheen is an accomplished Associate Professor and Head of the BFA Acting Program at Texas State University, with a wealth of experience in voice and dialect coaching. Since August 2016, Glasheen has also worked freelance, contributing to a variety of notable productions including "Cardboard Piano" and "A Christmas Carol" at Actors Theatre of Louisville, and "The Secret Garden" at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Prior academic roles include visiting positions at Millikin University, Webster University, and the University of Cincinnati, where Glasheen taught voice and speech courses and provided dialect coaching for several productions. Glasheen holds an MFA in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, London, and a BA in Acting and English Literature from Butler University.
