Lauren Loper has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and positions. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Texas State University as a Graduate Assistant in Retention Management and Planning and as a Graduate Intern in Student Involvement. In 2017, they also served as a Graduate Intern in the MD/PhD Program at UT Health San Antonio. Lauren then joined UT Health San Antonio in 2018 as an Academic Success Coach & Writing Coordinator, where they advised students on academic success and supervised a peer-to-peer mentorship program. In 2020, they transitioned into the role of Senior Program Coordinator, overseeing scholarships distribution and maintaining department surveys. Lauren then moved to IDEA Public Schools in 2021, starting as a MSAP Grant Project Manager, and later serving as a Philanthropic and Competitive Funds Grant Manager and Director of Competitive Grants until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Foundation Engagement at Texas State University. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in grant management, fiscal compliance, program coordination, and academic advising.
Lauren Loper has a Master of Education (MEd) in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Texas State University. Lauren also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Government and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
