Lindsay Timmerman

Lindsay Timmerman currently serves as Faculty Ombudsperson and Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Texas State University, where additional responsibilities include Director of Graduate Studies. Prior to this role, Lindsay Timmerman was an Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from August 2000 to August 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Communication Studies at The University of Texas at Austin from 1996 to 2000. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Communication Studies with a focus on Interpersonal Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a B.A. in Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with a study period at the University of Nottingham.
