Sue Stewart

Sue Stewart is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Texas State University, a position held since September 2001. In this role, Sue develops and teaches courses focused on effective communication skills across various contexts, emphasizing the importance of language, meeting management, and critical thinking in achieving positive group outcomes. Prior to the academic career, Sue held leadership roles in the corporate sector, including Executive Vice President and Regional Manager at Fidelity National Title from 1993 to 1995, and Regional Sales Manager at TRW Title Insurance Company from 1991 to 1993. Sue’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Communication from St. Edward's University.
