William Kovach

William Kovach is currently serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Texas since September 2024. Prior experience includes a Judicial Extern position at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York with Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain, and a Teaching Assistant role at Columbia Law School focusing on Energy Regulation. William has also contributed to various legal settings, including as a Legal Extern with the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General's Office, a Summer Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and an extern with The Bronx Defenders. Additional experience encompasses a Legal Intern role at the ACLU of Kansas and several student leadership positions at The University of Texas at Austin, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in History. William is pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at Columbia Law School, set to graduate in 2024.
