Carlos Favela

Carlos Favela has extensive experience in information technology and student recruitment, currently serving as the Director for Information Technology at Texas Tech University since September 2013, following roles as Associate Director and Assistant Director in IT and Marketing. Prior to this, Carlos held the position of Admissions Analyst at National University College Online and worked as an Academic Advisor and Lead Student Telecounselor at Texas Tech University, where responsibilities included recruiting prospective students and supporting their application process. Early career experience includes a customer service role as a Cashier at HEB. Carlos holds a Master of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, both from Texas Tech University.
