Haley Kerns

Haley Kerns has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in education and finance. Haley is currently working as a Project Director - Accounting Services at Texas Tech University. Previously, Haley worked as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Lubbock-Cooper ISD and Frisco ISD, where they developed and delivered geometry instruction and managed online learning platforms. Haley also acted as a Team Lead and mentored new teachers. Before transitioning to the education field, Haley worked as a Property & Casualty Actuarial Analyst at Towers Watson, conducting trend analysis and ensuring data accuracy. Additionally, they have experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas G. Brint Ryan College of Business and an Accounting Intern at Lennox International. Haley also served as a JV Girls Basketball Coach at Northville High School.

Haley Kerns obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas, with a GPA of 3.85, from 2009 to 2012. Haley then acquired a Teaching Certificate in Mathematics 8-12 as a Post Baccalaureate student at the same university from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree from Schoolcraft College, which did not specify a field of study, between 2006 and 2008.
