Heather Greenhalgh-Spencer

Heather Greenhalgh-Spencer serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Programming at Texas Tech University Graduate School and has held various academic titles, including Associate Professor and Chair of Graduate Work in Blended and Personalized Learning. With a focus on curriculum coordination within the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Heather has also been a pivotal figure in the field of globalization policy in education and online education as a scholar. In addition to teaching roles at Texas Tech University, Heather has been part of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since 2009, contributing as a visiting faculty member and engaging in research and teaching within Global Studies in Education. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Education Policy Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, alongside a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Utah.
