Jennifer Souter

Jennifer Souter has extensive experience in intellectual property and technology commercialization, currently serving as Managing Director of Intellectual Property at Texas Tech University since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jennifer held positions as Senior Licensing Associate and Licensing Associate at the same institution. From 2014 to December 2021, Jennifer worked at WiSys as Director of Patents and Licensing and previously as Associate Director. Earlier career experience includes serving as Technology Commercialisation Manager at the University of Ulster and as R&D Industry Analyst and Project Coordinator at the University of Mississippi. Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ulster University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of West Alabama.
