Sheri Westerfeld Lewis

Sheri Westerfeld Lewis has extensive experience in the fields of journalism and media communication, currently serving as the Director/Adviser at Texas Tech University since September 1998, where responsibilities include overseeing business and financial operations for an award-winning, student-run news outlet. Previous roles include Associate Director/Adviser at Toreador Media, where coaching and training for student writers were key responsibilities, and a Public Information Specialist for Brownwood Independent School District. Sheri has contributed as a freelance writer and editor for various companies since 1996 and held reporting and editorial positions at the Brownwood Bulletin and The San Saba News & Star. Academically, Sheri holds a Master's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a BA in Journalism from Texas Tech University.
