Genea Shoulders

Genea Shoulders, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Texas Wesleyan University, where responsibilities include delivering courses to over 100 students and developing syllabi aligned with industry standards. With experience as Adjunct Faculty, Genea has taught Criminal Justice and Political Science courses, engaging over 50 students. Genea's background also includes leadership roles such as Site Director for the Comin' Up Gang Intervention Program at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, managing outreach for at-risk youth. Prior experience encompasses positions in education, management, and operational roles, with a proven record of enhancing educational environments and improving academic performance. Genea holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University, a Master's degree in Criminology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a Bachelor's in Sociology from East Texas Baptist University.
