Hattie serves as a Board Member for several organizations, including the Texas Women's Foundation, Prosper Forum, Dallas Regional Chamber, Center for BrainHealth, and Conscious Capitalism, Inc. Previously, Hattie held the role of President and CEO at the T.D. Jakes Foundation and the Women's Foodservice Forum, where significant organizational transformations took place. Hattie holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Psychology from Arkansas State University.
