Angela W. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Angela started their career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as an Associate, where they focused on white collar defense, bankruptcy, and restructuring as a corporate litigation associate. Angela also worked extensively on pro bono cases with the Legal Aid Society and the New York City Mayor's Office. In 2020, Angela joined the City of Celina as a Management Analyst, where they provided support to various departments including Engineering, Public Works, and Parks & Rec. Angela then transitioned to a career in software engineering, first working as a Software Engineering Apprentice at Text-Em-All. Angela later became a Software Engineer I and then a Software Engineer II at the same company. Angela also gained teaching experience as a Resident at Hack Reactor, where they taught whiteboarding challenges and conducted office hours on problem solving and code fluency. These roles have equipped Angela with a diverse skill set and a strong foundation in both legal and software engineering fields.

Angela W. pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Harvard University, where they completed their degree in 2012. Subsequently, they attended the New York University School of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) degree in 2016. Angela is currently enrolled at Hack Reactor and is expected to complete the Software Engineering Immersive program in 2021.
