Karen Daniela Casallas Vanegas

Karen Daniela Casallas Vanegas has been working in the communications field since 2012. Karen Daniela began their career as a Social Work Intern at Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo. In 2013, they were an Intern - Corporate Communicator at Equión Energía Limited and then a Corporate Communicator, managing crisis management, internal and external communication, and public relations, as well as creating and editing content and managing social media. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Communications Specialist at Inverterra Colombia, where they were responsible for branding, image, internal and external communication, and public relations. Karen Daniela then worked as an Account Chief at Universidad de La Sabana, where they were responsible for sales, market research, content creation, customer service, public relations, and project planning, execution, and controlling. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Textbroker International, where they are responsible for ensuring the successful running of projects in Managed Service UK and throughout Europe, task planning and briefing, invoicing, and actively coordinating with colleagues, authors, editors, and clients.

Karen Daniela Casallas Vanegas has an extensive education history. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Universidad de La Sabana, where they earned a Bachelor Program in Journalism and Social Communications. In 2014, they attended Formación Activa Institute for a Professional Writing Seminar. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Universidad de La Sabana again for a Corporate Communication Management Specialist (Postgraduate Program). In 2017 and 2018, they attended both EAE Business School and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where they earned a Corporate Communications Management Master and a Communication and Event Management Master, respectively. In 2018 and 2019, they attended Universidad de La Sabana again for Digital Marketing and Customer Service. Additionally, in 2013, they attended Fundacion Escuela de Relaciones Públicas y Protocolo for the First International Meeting in Public Relations and Protocol. Lastly, in 2012, they attended Universidad de La Sabana for Strategic Communication and Marketing Management.
