Jason Burk

Jason Burk has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jason is currently working as a Product Manager at TextExpander since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SAM Medical from August 2021 to February 2022, where they served as a Product Manager for emergent care products and was responsible for new product development in respiratory management. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Abbott as a Global Product Manager, handling Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and related coronary imaging technologies.

In 2017, Jason worked in product development at Zero Space, where they collaborated with investors, physicians, and healthcare providers to define product requirements and managed an international software team. Jason also has experience as a Senior Product Manager at Avinger Inc. from 2013 to 2017, overseeing capital equipment products and managing hardware and software product feature pipeline.

Additionally, Jason has worked at Cisco Systems from 2005 to 2013, first as a Test Engineer/Technical Marketing Engineer in TelePresence R&D and later as a Technical Lead in the Learning and Development Solutions Group. Jason started their career in the USAF as a Senior Airman from 2001 to 2005, where they maintained aircraft, equipment, and facilities and supervised a crew.

Jason Burk completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Arizona State University, from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an AS in Internet Technology - Web Administration from Foothill College, from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, they also earned a certification in Product Management from Stanford Online in May 2023.
