Ricardo Garay

Ricardo Garay is a seasoned professional in sustainability and engagement within the fashion and agriculture sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Industry Engagement at Textile Exchange since March 2021, Ricardo also co-founded re/GENERATE, where efforts are focused on aligning the fashion industry with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through co-creative design solutions. Previous roles include Global Platform Lead at Circular Systems SPC, where innovative technologies were developed for the circular economy, and Principal Consultant at Orchestrated Agricultural Systems. With a strong foundation in sustainable agriculture and a Master of Arts in Sustainability in Fashion from Esmod Berlin, Ricardo combines expertise in design, sustainability, and agricultural practices to drive impactful change.
