Amit Gautam is an accomplished leader in the textile and sustainability sectors, currently serving as Founder and CEO of TextileGenesis™ since February 2019, where a pioneering supply chain traceability platform for the apparel and fashion industry is developed. Prior experience includes roles as Board Director for Lenzing Fibers Greater China and Executive Vice President of Textile Business Management at Lenzing Group, overseeing a $1.5 billion global business. Gautam has also held positions at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner focusing on sustainability and commercial transformation, as well as at Booz & Company as a Senior Principal in the Chemicals and Sustainability practices. Early career highlights include project management at The World Economic Forum and engineering responsibilities at GE Aviation. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
