Connor Jackson has a diverse work experience in various roles. Connor started their career as a Summer Camp Counselor for the City of Groton in 2011, where they worked with young children and facilitated outdoor activities. In 2012, they joined General Dynamics Electric Boat as an Engineering Intern, handling IT support and drafting work. Connor then transitioned to the role of Piping Drafter, where they converted hand drawings to digital versions using AutoCAD.
In 2015, Connor worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut for a programming course. Connor assisted students during lab exercises and graded exams. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Synchrony as an Android Developer. Connor initially started as a Junior Android Developer, focusing on app development in Java and learning the Android SDK. Later, they became an Android Developer for Synchrony's Native App team, serving as a Technical Lead for the CareCredit app. In this role, they oversaw release management, development, integrations, and architecture. Connor also collaborated closely with the Product Owner to align business and technical goals.

Connor Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Connecticut between 2013 and 2017. In 2015, they also had a study abroad experience at the Université des Antilles, focusing on Caribbean Studies.
Before their university education, Connor attended Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School, where they obtained a Connecticut High School Diploma in Computer Aided Drafting and Design in June 2013.
Additionally, Connor has obtained two certifications. In June 2013, they received a Computer Aided Drafting and Design certification from Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School. More recently, in January 2021, they obtained an Associate Android Developer - Kotlin certification from Google Developers.
