Sydney Guitjens

Sydney Guitjens has extensive experience in quality assurance engineering. Sydney started their career in 1991 as a Senior Research Assistant at Oregon Health and Science University and worked there until 1998. From 1997 to 2000, they served as a Medical Assistant at Women's Health Center. Sydney then joined Extensis as a QA Engineer from 2000 to 2003. Following that, they worked at Ensequence as a QA Engineer from 2003 to 2010. During this period, they tested web applications and mobile apps. In 2010, they became a QA Engineer at Critical Path Software, where they tested eBay Mobile apps. The company was later acquired by eBay, and they continued working there until 2018 as a Lead QA Engineer. In 2018, they joined moovel Group as a QA Engineer, where they tested web applications and automated Angular apps. In 2019, they joined TextNow as a Quality Engineer.

Sydney Guitjens attended the University of Oregon from 2019 to 2020, where they completed a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp. Prior to that, they studied at Portland State University from 2017 to 2018, focusing on Computer Science. Sydney also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Reed College with a major in Biology, although the specific years of enrollment are not provided.
