Zareen Syed

Zareen Syed has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Zareen is currently employed as a Staff Backend Engineer at TextNow since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ElectrifAi as a Sr. Software Engineer & Architect from February 2020 to July 2021. Before that, they held the same position at IBM from December 2015 to February 2020.

Zareen also has academic experience, having worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from September 2015 to December 2015. Zareen also served as a Research Associate (Principle Faculty) at the same institution from December 2014 to September 2015.

In addition to their academic work, Zareen has industry experience in roles such as Sr. Researcher (NLP) and Manager at North Side Inc. from March 2013 to July 2014, and Project Lead at Interactive Group from July 2011 to March 2013.
