Evan Nickel

Evan Nickel is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in piloting and safety roles. Currently serving as a Senior Demonstration Pilot at Textron Aviation since September 2025, Evan has previously held leadership positions such as Captain & Safety Officer at Koch Industries and Senior Demonstration Pilot and Safety Specialist at Textron Aviation. In the United States Air Force from 2009 to 2014, Evan commanded crews in the MC-12W and led combat aircrews in the C-17A. Prior to military service, experience includes avionics maintenance for the F-16 at the Tulsa Air National Guard and classroom instruction for disadvantaged youth. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the University of Oklahoma.
