Tony Contrada is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in research and development, particularly in the fields of electrification, electronic systems, and software development. As a Senior R&D Engineer at Textron GSE from June 2022 to January 2024, Tony focused on the electrification of aviation ground support equipment, including integrating lithium batteries and developing custom monitoring solutions. Previously, as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Georgia Tech Research Institute, Tony specialized in receiver design for radar systems, and as an Innovation Engineer at Emerson Climate Technologies, created prototypes for wireless sensor applications. Additional roles included leadership in software development, mobile application development, and research engineering, with a solid foundation in electrical and computer engineering, supported by advanced degrees from Kennesaw State University.
