Matt Reister

Matt Reister oversees and manages Textron’s global business development activities, including mergers, acquisitions and strategies. He was appointed to this position in May 2025.

Prior to joining Textron, Reister was vice president and head of Corporate Development and M&A for BWX Technologies. He had responsibilities for identifying, evaluating, structuring and leading the end-to-end execution of BWX’s acquisitions, divestures and joint ventures. Prior to this, he was director, Corporate Development, for Lockheed Martin, working on numerous buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Reister received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston University.
