Katie Hu

Katie Hu serves as the Managing Director and General Manager for Hearst Ventures in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on early-stage venture investments within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. Since joining Hearst Ventures in August 2014, Katie has spearheaded several successful investments, including LingoChamp, CooHom, and Zcool, among others. Additionally, Katie holds various board roles, including Board Member positions at Turingsense and Pacdora, as well as Board Observer roles at Tezign and Atzuche. Katie's educational background includes an MSc in Finance and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Finance and Economics from The University of Auckland.
