Jane Barney, JD, CFP®, CDFA™ has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jane began their career in 1992 as a Partner at Taubner & Cellai before moving on to work as a Financial Planning Case Consultant at MetLife Financial Services in 1995. In 2002, they joined Canby Financial Advisors as a Client Service Manager, where they stayed until 2007. At that point, they joined TFC Financial Management as a Vice President, providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services for a select number of clients. Jane also serves on the firm's Investment Committee. Throughout their career, Jane has demonstrated a commitment to independent, fee-only financial services.

Jane Barney, JD, CFP®, CDFA™, completed their education at various institutions and obtained additional certifications in their field. Jane started their academic journey in 1984, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science / Management. Afterward, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from New England Law | Boston, graduating from the institution in 1991.

Alongside their education, Jane Barney obtained several additional certifications relevant to their profession. In 2002, they earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board. Later, in 2014, they obtained the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ certification from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™.
