Dan Stout, CTS has had a long and varied career in the audio/visual industry. In 1990, they began their career as an Engineer at the Chicago Recording Company. In 1997, they became the Owner/Chief Mastering Engineer at Colossal Mastering, where they were responsible for music mastering for commercial music releases on CD, vinyl, and internet distribution, as well as payroll, accounting, HR and maintenance of vintage audio equipment, and IT structure and implementation. In 2013, they took on the role of Chief Relocation Engineer at Austin Stout Spa. In 2014, they moved to TradeSTAR, Inc. as an A/V Technician. Finally, in 2015, they joined TFE as an Audio/Visual Design Engineer, Audio/Visual Estimator, and A/V Technician.
Dan Stout obtained their CTS - Certified Technology Specialist certification from InfoComm International. Dan also attended The Recording Workshop in 1990 to study Recording Technology and Maintenance. Prior to that, they attended Purdue University from 1987 to 1989.
