Vaidotas Jakavičius

Vaidotas Jakavičius has a diverse work experience in the field of test automation and quality assurance. Vaidotas began their career in 2016 as an Assistant of Real Estate Appraiser at Inreal Grupė. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Mainframe Operation analyst at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania. In 2018, they joined EIS Group Ltd as a Test Specialist, where they were responsible for reproducing and tracking bugs, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy of code fixes. Vaidotas then worked as a Software Tester at Moog Medical Devices Group on a freelance contract, where they performed exploratory testing and reported bugs. Vaidotas gained further experience as a Test Automation Specialist at INSOFT from 2018 to 2020, and later joined SEB Global Services as a Test Automation Specialist. In this role, they supported automation projects, integrated UI and REST Assured testing frameworks, and implemented automated tests in the CI/CD pipeline. Currently, Vaidotas is employed at TGLAB as the Lead QA Automation Engineer, where they oversee automation projects, delegates tasks, and prioritizes project deliverables.

Vaidotas Jakavičius earned a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Management from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, studying from 2013 to 2017.
