Benjamin Koomson

Benjamin Koomson serves as the Director of Enterprise Applications at TGen, an Affiliate of City of Hope, since February 2009, where the role involves leading the development of Precision Medicine Software Products and formulating go-to-market strategies for commercialization. Koomson has a strong background in technology, demonstrated through previous positions including Manager of Software Engineering, Technical Head of Software Engineering, and Sr. Software Engineer, where responsibilities included acting as a technical lead, designing custom solutions for scientific staff, and driving the adoption of new development technologies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Sr. Software Engineer at Scientific Technologies Corporation and a Programmer Analyst at JRD Systems. Benjamin Koomson holds an MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, and Analytics from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, an MS in Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University, and a BSc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
