Erkut Borazanci

Erkut Borazanci is an experienced oncology professional currently serving as the Director and Deputy Director of Oncology at HonorHealth Research Institute since July 2021. Since November 2013, Borazanci has also held positions as Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Assistant Professor at TGen - Part of City of Hope and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, respectively. With a background that includes roles as Clinical Investigator and Medical Director for the Early Detection Program at HonorHealth, Borazanci specializes in conducting phase I and II clinical trials, implementing translational research projects, and focusing on gastrointestinal malignancies. Prior experience includes hospitalist duties at Willis-Knighton Health System and a fellowship in oncology at LSU Health Sciences Center, alongside a comprehensive education culminating in a Doctor of Medicine degree from LSUHSC-S.
