Manasa Upadhyaya

Manasa Upadhyaya is currently a Bioinformatician at TGen, part of City of Hope, since February 2023. Previously, Manasa served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Torres Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on data standardization from protein search engines and conducting motif enrichment analyses. Experience includes a Bioinformatics Summer Internship at IDEXX, where Manasa contributed to building a dog cancer database, and a Project Internship at Poorna Prajna Institute of Scientific Research, working on protein purification. Further background includes an Internship Trainee role at HealthCare Global, focusing on cancer research, and a Summer Internship at RGCB, studying the impact of a PARP inhibitor on breast cancer cell lines. Manasa holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, with minors in Computer Science, from PES University.
