Leonardo Pinheiro

Leonardo Pinheiro is a highly experienced geophysicist specializing in depth-imaging, velocity model building, and inversion processes. Currently serving as a Project Geophysicist at TGS since July 2024, Leonardo previously held the same role at PGS from October 2014 to June 2024, and earlier worked as a Senior Geophysicist, contributing to technology development for improved marine seismic data processing. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at Petrobras where Leonardo developed geophysical computational tools and engaged in significant research and development projects. Academic qualifications comprise a Doctor of Science degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, along with various specializations and certifications in geophysics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
