Monica Fernandez Drotleff

Monica Fernandez Drotleff is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and energy law within the Latin American region. Currently serving as VP at TGS since July 2012, Monica has held various roles within the company, including Director and Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to TGS, Monica worked at Weatherford as a Latin-America Legal Consultant for a brief period and spent several years at NORTON ROSE FULBRIGHT as a Senior Associate. Earlier in their career, Monica held positions with Empresas Polar, Torres, Plaz & Araujo, and DOUMAR, CURTIS, CROSS, LYSTROM & PERLOFF, among others. Monica's educational background includes a Master's degree in Energy, Environmental and Natural Resources from the University of Houston and multiple Master's degrees in various legal specializations from institutions in Venezuela and Spain, as well as an Attorney at Law degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
