Supachai Sompol

Supachai Sompol serves as a researcher in the Social Development Policy Sector at the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) since July 2020, following a role as a research assistant at the Center for Research on Inequality and Social Policy during the COVID-19 impact project from June 2021 to May 2022. Supachai has previous experience as a research assistant at Thammasat University, a plan and policy analyst at the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute, and a researcher in the Macroeconomic Policy Sector at TDRI from October 2016 to June 2018. Early career experiences include an internship at the Stock Exchange of Thailand and a position as a teacher assistant at Srinakharinwirot University. The educational background includes a Master of Arts in Political Economy from Chulalongkorn University and a Bachelor of Economics with a focus on Economics and Public Policy from Srinakharinwirot University.
