Guillaume de Freitas

Guillaume DE FREITAS is an experienced engineer specializing in analog ASIC design and power electronics, currently working at Thales Alenia Space since February 2023. Responsibilities include designing DC-DC converters, discrete analog electronic functions, testing and validating space power supplies, supervising routing, and conducting worst-case circuit analysis. Guillaume has also contributed to the development of a complete space power supply incorporating hard-switching topology and GaN transistors, enhancing the competitiveness of space DC-DC supplies. Prior experience includes a role at SPHEREA focused on near-field scans of power electronic boards, an administrative position at Bpifrance, and a laboratory assistant role at GE Renewable Energy, where skills in data management and device connectivity were applied. Guillaume holds an engineering degree from INSA Toulouse and is currently participating in an ERASMUS exchange at DTU.
